Oskar Dobler B.A. and Florian Schubert lay the foundation for a company specializing in the renovation and revitalization of inner-city historic buildings. The first project: a Gründerzeit building in Munich with 12 residential units.
In Stuttgart, the team realizes a 30-unit ensemble with green inner courtyards and communal rooftop terraces. The project receives the local architecture award for sustainable neighborhood development.
With the addition of Johann Ertl B.A., the portfolio is expanded to include energy-efficient new buildings. The first KfW Efficiency House 40 projects are built in Freiburg, setting new standards for the company's own ambitions.
The largest project to date: A new urban district with rainwater management, roof gardens, and a central neighborhood park is being developed on a 12-hectare site in Stuttgart. The first construction phases are occupied.
A listed villa in Munich is equipped with an air-source heat pump and triple-glazed box-type windows – energy consumption drops by 70 percent. The project receives the German Sustainability Award for Architecture.
To accelerate housing construction, the company relies on prefabricated timber elements and standardized renovation modules. Initial pilot projects in Vienna and Berlin are underway.
